The Inaugural Renaissance Awards & Preservation Resource Center Heritage Club Luncheon

The Inaugural Renaissance Awards & Preservation Resource Center Heritage Club Luncheon was held on September 18 at the Audubon Tea Room. Over 220 guests were in attendance to celebrate the great historic architecture of New Orleans. Mayor of Charleston, South Carolina, Joseph P. Riley was on hand to provide some much needed preservation and architectural inspiration based on examples of restoration projects that he himself has pioneered in his 33 years as mayor of Charleston.

Some much deserved recipients received our inaugural Renaissance Award for choosing to make the extra effort to really respect the original architecture of their homes when renovating and restoring them. Congratulations to Annie and Guy Smith, Matt Rosendahl, Becca and Gregor Fox, Erich and Jennifer Weishaupt and Rashida Ferdinand.

New Orleans Homes and Lifestyles and The Preservation Resource Center would like to thank the sponsors of this event, Korbel Champagne, Republic Beverage Company, Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans, Coburn's Supply Company and Fetzer Vineyards. A special thank you to the Audubon Tea Room and The Preservation Resource Center.

We would also like to give one last thank you to Mayor Jospeh P. Riley, Jr. Thank you so much for speaking to us and for inspiring us all.
